MADISON, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Chick-fil-A restaurant in Madison announced the death of a “cherished” 91-year-old dining room host on Monday morning.
The restaurant, Chick-fil-A Rivergate, bid farewell to “Mr. Norman.”
In a social media post, the restaurant said Norman Pauley died peacefully on Saturday.
“Norman was not just a host; he was a beloved figure who touched the hearts of everyone he met. His warm smile and genuine kindness made every guest feel like a part of his extended family,” the post stated.

“Norman had an incredible ability to create a welcoming atmosphere, where love and care were palpable in the air. His presence brought joy and comfort to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and he will be deeply missed.”
