The actress collaborated with Crate & Kids to design her vibrant kid’s room. The space features a pink shiplap accent wall that complements the colors of Evie’s bedding and the art on her walls. On one side of the bed, a cozy reading nook features wooden bookshelves and a plush, elevated beanbag chair. In front of the bed, a wooden desk is ideal for doing art projects or working on homework. Dewan tells Homes & Gardens: ‘Evie just turned 11, and it was time to elevate her space and give her a more mature space with a big bed and lots of organization. Evie picked out the color scheme and asked for organization and shelving, and let us surprise her with the rest! The Crate & Kids Design Desk team took our dreams, learned about her personality, and ran with it. I was mindblown when we saw the new room – it was better than we could’ve even imagined!’
