This Cincinnati restaurant’s ‘chef’s counter’ offers unique dining experience

Wildweed is opening up for reservations this month, offering two unique dining experiences.The restaurant was ranked on Bon Appetit magazine’s list of one of the country’s “must-visit” restaurants to try this summer. The restaurant offers two unique dining options.One allows guests to sit in their dining room with an a la carte menu offering fresh, pastas non-traditional sauces and garnishes, playful snacks and creative desserts.The other option is to dine at the “chef’s counter.” The 11-seat curved counter gives guests a view into the kitchen and outdoors. The menu includes around a dozen different dishes, all following a story of 7 different ingredients. Throughout the meal, chefs will interact with guests, describing the dishes and ingredients.Reservations are now open for both. The two started doing pop-ups and private events and before that, David ran kitchens at restaurants including Catbird Seat in Nashville, and Farmer’s Apprentice in Vancouver, British Columbia.
