Laptop and tablet charger
Top pick
This compact charger can power almost any USB-C laptop at top speed, and it works great for lower-powered devices, too. Despite its affordable price, it even includes a cable.
Whether you need to replace your original laptop charger or just want to have an extra at home or the office, you should get the Nekteck 60W USB-C GaN Charger.
It charges almost any USB-C laptop at full speed, it’s smaller than just about any other 60- or 65-watt charger we’ve found, and it comes with a detachable cable, which would usually cost $10 to $20 on its own. This charger is USB-IF-certified for performance and safety, as well.

USB phone charger
Top pick
This small and inexpensive charger can fast-charge any phone, including iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Google Pixel handsets. But it has only one port.
If you want the smallest power brick available that’ll charge your phone at the fastest speeds, we recommend the single-port Anker PowerPort III Nano.
It’s the same size as Apple’s ubiquitous 5 W charger, and it supplies up to 20 W over USB-C. That’s enough power to charge most phones—whether you have an iPhone, a Samsung Galaxy model, a Google Pixel handset, or some other Android phone with fast charging—to more than 50% battery in just 30 minutes.
This model also powers Apple’s MagSafe wireless charging system at its maximum 15 W.

Wireless phone charger
Top pick
This wireless charging pad can fast-charge the iPhone 15, later iPhone models, and other compatible devices. It doesn’t come with a wall adapter, but it has a long power cable, MagSafe support, and a built-in stand.
The Belkin BoostCharge Pro Portable Wireless Charger Pad with MagSafe is the best Qi wireless charger (the predominant wireless-charging standard) for a single device. It’s rated to charge at up to 15 W (that’s faster than many models, especially in this price range), and it offers the convenience of MagSafe to compatible devices.
It also has a handy built-in stand, and the included power cable is lengthy, ruggedly built, and has an attached cable tie to keep it neatly coiled for travel or storage. It’s made by a well-established brand with great customer support, and it has a two-year warranty.
We have a few quibbles with this model, but they’re minor. It doesn’t come with a wall adapter, so you have to supply your own USB wall charger. And the USB-C power cable is non-removable, so you can’t swap it out if it gets damaged.

USB-C and Lightning cables
The best charging cable for you depends on what you’re trying to charge, but the two most common standards right now are USB-C and Apple’s Lightning.
Top pick
This 240 W cable can fast-charge even the latest 16-inch MacBook Pro, but the flexible, woven cord works just as well with phones.
For USB-C, we like the Belkin BoostCharge USB-C to USB-C Power Cable. Of all the USB-C charging cables we tested, this charging cable is the most versatile. It supports 240 W charging, which is required for fast charging with certain laptops such as the 16-inch M3 MacBook Pro, but it’s still thin and flexible enough to work well as a phone charger. Its aluminum connectors and woven nylon are nice touches, too.
If you want a cable for fast video and data transfer, check out the Cable Matters USB-IF Certified 10 Gbps Gen 2 USB-C to USB-C Cable, which offers 10 Gbps transfer speeds and 4K video-output support for a great price. For a Thunderbolt 4 cable, we recommend the OWC Thunderbolt 4 Cable.

This lengthy cable is MFi-certified, sturdily built, and comfortable to grip, and it has a lifetime warranty. Plus, with the right wall charger, it can fully charge most iPhones in about an hour.
If you need to charge pre-2023 iPhones, AirPods, and other Lightning-powered devices, the best cable is the Anker PowerLine II USB-C to Lightning Cable (10 feet). It’s MFi-certified to meet Apple’s standards for optimal performance, it’s backed by Anker’s lifetime warranty, and it has a rubber sheath encasing that makes it exceptionally durable.
It’s also available in 3 feet and 6 feet lengths.

USB hub
Top pick
This hub has a broad port selection, dual monitor support for Windows PCs, and some clever design touches, plus it comes with a two-year warranty.
The Baseus 10-in-1 Dual Monitor Docking Station offers a generous selection of ports, including a 10Gbps USB-C data transfer port, three USB-A ports, an SD card slot, a microSD card slot, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and dual HDMI outputs. This USB-C hub also includes a metal enclosure, a thick woven cable for its built-in USB-C connector, and a little holster that protects the end of the connector cable while traveling.
This hub pairs especially well with Windows PCs, which can take full advantage of its dual HDMI outputs and 120 Hz video support, but plays nicely with a Mac as well. It’s powerful enough to keep at your desk full-time as a docking station but small enough to slip into a laptop bag and use on the go as well.
